[Discussion] what will happen when manga catches up to anime?

just wonder what you guys will think will happen to op when the anime catches up with the manga.
I think they all learned a lesson from bleach that the fans wont take a filler during a main fight scene.
will we get a movie or how big of a filler and what do you think it maybe about?

That won't happen with the anime's 1 chapter per episode pacing. They'll keep it that way till the anime is over and after a while they will release a "kai" version of OP with better pacing. It's all part of Toei's milking process.

Considering the current pacing of the anime (approx one chapter per episode), the anime will not catch up to the manga anytime soon.

The manga can never catch up to the anime because the manga is ahead of the anime.

I don't know I hardly watch the anime, believe I stopped when sanji attacked doffy/sunny and co trying to escape.

that wont happen because OP is just getting started, and dont compare op to any other mangas out there because op is a master piece not like bleach and naruto

It won't due to the slow pace and then there's the fact that when it gets to close to the Manga the Anime goes on break.

the anime will catch up with the manga cause the anime doesnt take breaks every 5 or 6 weeks. anime is now on corozan arc. that close to the manga. i think they may do a filler after this arc just to add to the gap between the two

considering Oda takes like a break per month and sometimes 2, that turns out to closing the gap between the anime and manga by around 12 chapters each year... This isn't even factoring in the golden week in japan manga break and the shounen jump magazine breaks... So the anime may end up catching up to the manga sooner than we expect even with it's 1episode:1chapter pacing ratio

We'll go into filler months before this even happens though.
