i think the either he would go back or he and naruto would fight then he realize that he made a mistake and help naruto kill madara and he dies trying and everyone would call him hero after he dies and naruto would become hokage. but who knows

they never stopped being friends.. sasuke is blinded by his hatred and will of revenge for his brother..

but even so he didn't leave without hearing what naruto had to say in their last encounter..so the bond was not completly broken yet..in my opinion
