Very first anime I saw was Pokemon, Digimon or DBZ.

they ones watched as well along with yu-gi-oh

DBZ/Pokemon in the mornings years back. Though watched DBZ again like 5-6 years back and got into anime, but before that I did Japanese in primary school and the teacher would sometimes put on Studio Ghibli movies so that too.

I guess the earliest things would be (On T.V):
DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.

The Studio Ghibli movies (some) at school.

Later it would be (On T.V again):
One Piece, and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and whatever else was on. Like 3 eps of Naruto which I found stupid back then.

Pretty much most of the anime that was aired on Toonami when I was younger. Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho to name a few. Also got into FMA and InuYasha when they had it on Adult Swim.
