I can't even really recall my first game. I know I owned an original SNES as a kid, but I also played a lot of DOS games (back when people were forced to use the command line). One distinct DOS game I remember playing a hell of a lot was Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantas. Oh, I played all of the Kings Quest series as well.

My 1st was the duck hunt game on the NES and then (the 1st love of my life) Mario - thanks to a kind brother who gave it to me when i was a kid... he wouldn't let me play on his snes, gameboy or playstation :(

I dont remember this but my parents told me a story about when I was 4 years old. A group of kids were playing duck hunt on the NES and I ended up killing more ducks than any of them, even though some were almost twice my age.

Mario, legend of zelda (gold case), and mario 3 were the the next games I remember playing.

I think I still have an old NES sitting around somewhere

I was about 5 when my brother let me play with his old NES (and by then it was old and he loved only his playstation) ... I didn't care (still don't :). You can't beat the classics

Only played the latest versions of Zelda but my brother said they were not as good as the original

I wasnt old enough to figure out what I needed to do for zelda, but I remember playing the same levels over and over. Mario 3 was probably my favorite. and Teenage mutant ninja turtles (though I kept dieing at the level where you have to disarm bombs underwater as the dam... stupid electric seaweed)
