Madaras method sucked fish at least Obito was gonna create one world for everyone that way he'd be in control of what happens.

Infinite Tsukuyomi is an ideal dream. Aside from the fact that those trapped (key word: trapped) in it will eventually turn into a white zetsu, this is not bad, as by then their personality/memory of being human would have been long gone. The main problem that I personally have with Infinite Tsukuyomi is the fact that it is limited by my ego.

The illusion that you find yourself trapped in is determined by your greatest wishes, dreams, hopes, etc. But THIS is the problem. It is limited by what you think is happiness at one moment in time, while reality, though much more bitter, offers potential in the form of happiness that you could not even begin to conceive. For example, Hinata dreaming of Neji being alive and being on a date with Naruto was as far as she could see her happiness at the time. But, I am sure that she could not even begin to imagine the new, modern world that the entire Naruto universe has entered (complete with the modern skyscrapers and whatever else they have.) In her dream the world may have continued being at war and there may have been no technological advances, whereas in reality they have computers and she has two children. The point I am trying to make is that Hinata's reality seems a lot better than her Infinite Tsukuyomi dream, and this is only one study.

Infinite Tsukuyomi gives you a dream limited by your ego, whereas reality, something shared with everyone else in the world, can sometimes surprise you by being better than your "wildest dreams."
