Yeah it's not like one lf them was able to summon a massive creature to use as a sheild against a big explosion or something.

How did plot save him? He outsmarted Deidara whereas Deidara was pissed about Itachi and Sasuke the whole time wishing he was surperoir.

How did plot save Sasuke? From Deidara's C4 blast at the end? Sasuke absorbed Orochimaru which allowed him to summon Manda which he used to shield himself from the blast.Before that Sasuke was tricking and kicking Deidara's ass with strategy and genjutsu which he formed from analyzing the situation.Both Tobi and Deidara's powers.

Shall i go into more detail? i have a good memory i don't need to go back and reread,but if i want i can easily do that.my computers infront of me and i have all the chapters downloaded.i can get to them in a matter of seconds.

Neji Vs Kidomaru & Naruto Vs Sasuke was close.But both ended with one guy being able to walk away while the was unconscoius.

Naruto Vs Gaara was the closest.Both Naruto & Gaara used all their energy,and couldn't even stand up in their own at the end of the fight.

Actually you're almost exactly right.Sakura Vs Ino was exactly a tie - they fought on par amd kocked out each other out with their final hit.

but the closest fight - was Naruto Vs Gaara.NarutoDelievered the finishing punch while they both used all their energy.
