What do you think is the battle that was the most extremely close, where the winner barely won by a tiny margin extremely high difficulty?

I think it was Sasuke vs Danzo...both were literally so drained and exhausted.

The Sasuke vs. Itachi fight. Even though it was planned by Itachi for it to be an extremely close fight, that doesn't mean it wasn't the closest fight to date. Sasuke "won" the fight on the edge of deaths door.

Sasuke had no chakra left to use, if he used anymore he would die. He passed out after the fight.

Itachi used so much chakra and was so fatigued/sick he actually did die.

Edit: Also if you want I guess, hebi vs. Bee would be one too. They only won after sasuke essentially died, twice. Suigetsu nearly died. And juugo turned into a kid. Even then they got tricked into thinking they won.

How? Madz implanted his black rods into Edo Hashirama during that fight, which he activated after he was revived. He was also obviously not serious. Unless you're trying to say that Hashirama = EMS Madara + Nagato (Rinnegan) + Base Hashi.

OT: EMS Madara + Kyuubi vs Hashirama was the closest battle ever. They fought during 24h afterall.
