What was Narutos true goal?

Their are other ways to protect your nation without engaging in war. War just causes era's or hate and destruction as proven through history and in this anime. War is like pouring oil on a flame, it will just make things worse and that's what Naruto wants to avoid at all cost. However, if war is necessary Naruto will do his best to deal with the problem himself to not involve those in the village which as Hokage he cares about and views as his family. But the ninja are likely well trained and can fight in war, but Naruto knows how much hate and pain war brings. And its something that doesn't just go away in a short time. Even in real life the world still struggles to get over wars of our past and terrorist events. Thus, leading to hatred among nations and countries and many other problems.

As seen in the manga Naruto and Sasuke are trying to take care of this Shin guy before it can possibly lead to war, which they are trying to avoid at all cost in order to maintain peace. Sadly, the truth is that peace on Earth can never last forever, as long as good & evil dwell in the same dimension. I'm religious so I believe that in heaven peace will forever exist because only good will be present. No evil will be able to enter that place.

This manga teaches a lot of good things that seem to be overlooked even though its been running for over 13 years lol. I can see Kishimoto has somewhat of a philosophical mind and present a lot of moral lessons in life from his manga.
Some people will bash my opinion, while others may praise it. I don't really care, because I know the truth will always come to light.
