I was gonna say that they were both nerfed, but then I remembered that Momoshiki never used his Byakugan in an actual fight. He relied totally on the Rinnegan.

I checked back but the only time when Momoshiki activated the Byakugan was:

> Locating the Kyuubi chakra in Naruto
> Looking at Naruto & Boruto before he transformed.

If he had the Byakugan on, he probably would of won actually XD

Makes no sense for him to not have his Byakugan active when fighting multiple opponents though.

Wait, for free? Do you know any other naruto character who trained as hard as Orochimaru? This guy literally spent his whole life on training, learning and trying to get stronger and more knowledgeable. Literally everything he has was achieved by his hard work.

Completely agree here. Let's not forget how out of character Sasuke even needed to be to literally go out of his way in a very serious situation to track Boruto down, giving him a pep talk, and then bring him along. I mean this is the guy who abandoned his own family for a decade just for the small chance he finds something about Kaguya's clan. He also cared so much about Boruto that he missed his chunnin exam match as well as his daughters just because he wanted to know the exact moment the scroll was encoded. You mean to tell me the same Sasuke now in a very serious situation in a race against time is going to go out of his way to bring along an inexperienced gennin that never fought a legit battle in his entire life and literally shit himself when he saw Momoshiti before. Don't even give me he needed him for his disappearing rasengan since if Sasuke really wanted to bring along someone that could help he would have brought along Lee.

Even Curse Mark Sasuke was moving faster than the other Gennin could track in the forest of death, and he gets absolutely shit on by any mid-top tier Jounin. Multiply that Jounin's power by 500, and that's the level Momoshiki was on, and yet we're supposed to believe someone maybe on Part 1 CM Sasuke's level could even see Momoshiki let alone move fast enough to hit him.

It's absurd. Any Jounin and above opponent should be able to casually walk around faster than Boruto could see.

That's not how the fight went down at all. Boruto (and Sasuke) were not fighting Momoshiki who was moving. Sasuke distracted him with his S/T, Boruto came from behind him, Momoshiki grabbed him, he didn't notice the kunai in his hand, and then Boruto with the Rasengan slammed it into him. Though Momoshiki himself was carrying a Rasengan-clone in his hand, hoping to use it against Boruto's own technique.

It was never setup for him (or them) to fight in CQC.

Indra solos now for real....oro was able to replicate Sage mode but never used it in a battle at all..lol...Who knows maybe oro still didn't get it(for me this is impossible, it's just doesn't make sense).....Kishi's logic:sdo:

That's not how the fight went down at all. Boruto (and Sasuke) were not fighting Momoshiki who was moving. Sasuke distracted him with his S/T, Boruto came from behind him, Momoshiki grabbed him, he didn't notice the kunai in his hand, and then Boruto with the Rasengan slammed it into him. Though Momoshiki himself was carrying a Rasengan-clone in his hand, hoping to use it against Boruto's own technique.

It was never setup for him (or them) to fight in CQC.

The specifics weren't explained but he probably did the same thing as kabuto and used jugos DNA to absorb sage Chakra so he can natural go into sage Chakra and maintain it.
