What was Madara doing to have his eyes like this?

I was just rewatching some of the War arc on YT and I noticed that Edo Madara had one sharingan activated and one Rinnegan activated. I had forgot that’d happened but does anyone know why he’d done that with his eyes?

Probably but it’s in more than just that frame. When he’s falling out of the sky, you can also see the sharingan there too.
