[Discussion] What type of punishment do you believe in?

this is funny. have kids ill give them a beating if i did and lock them in their rooms for a week without food.

@Bold That's child neglect though, you have to feed your kids, that's just a cruel punishment if you don't.(unless of course you don't have the money, but assuming you do, then it would be wrong)

Yelling & beating are bad cause I'd think that children become aggressive of it. In my opinion it's a form of child abuse.

But in a case like that picture, I would laugh my ass off. But your child must feel insecure as f*** when he walks on school like that so naah it's too much.

Depends on the age, and the degree of culpability.

I used to babysit my siblings, toddler tantrums are dealt with putting them in a safe place and ignoring them till they calm down. I mostly ask "You done yet?" when they're finished with their charades and attention-seeking behaviors.

I'm not into spanking them though.

All it will do is create a bigger gap between him and his father, weakening the influence that the father has. Stupidity at it's finest. Not to mention that if the kid shaves off the rest, it'll look fine.

Words were more than sufficient when I was a child.

Talk to them about their behavior. Assuming I have kids that will be smart enough for that, if not then I'll just take away their privileges and treat them like a brat if they act like a brat
