Regarding children who don't listen, what form of action do you take when they're disrespectful? Beatings, time-outs, telling them it's a "no, no', etc. Personally, I would do something like this;

But as for me if my kid doesn't want to do his chores then he will have to come to the backyard and face me inside the cage.

His mum can be the referee.

If he can beat me then I'll do his chores but if he looses then ass is grounded.

Facebook is getting ridiculous. Why would you humiliate your child? You are psychologically damage them. It is not helping them. It is destroying them mentally which could cause problems in their adulthood. At least discipline them in private: take away their games or computers; don't reward them; (etc). I think it is a little extreme when you do that. People would be questioning your parenting. "If you can do this to your child, than what more can you do if he 'acts out' again"

depends on the kid, some kids can be told with just a simple no others need to feel a little fear to understand that it's wrong and other have to get a few hits (I dont mean abuse). Anything beyond is wrong

Children huh? I try to get them to listen, but I will give up after around 30 mins of trying. Its like waiting for bios to be approved, its boring af. I don't punish kids for listening. I just won't care if I stop trying.

It depends on what they do.
The only time my girls receive punishment is if they lie, or if they are disrespectful.
Which rarely happens but when it does, watch out.
My punishment comes in the form of a belt, then they get grounded for a day or more, depending.
