But it's not one week off, it's two. Think of it like two-week breaks during school, do you miss one week only, or two?

Or like the weekend, it's a two-day break because you miss two days right, but return three days later? Same concept here.

2 weeks off of school would be a 1 week manga break. You get Sun-Sat off = 1 week, you get Sun-Sat off again =2 weeks, even though if the manga came out on sundays skipping one week would result in the average break.

Yeah, because we get Naruto always on a Wednesday. It'd make since to start it there. We get it within hours of the raw copy being released from what I know of it.

Where are you getting the two weeks from bro? At the end of the last chapter, I believe it said Naruto will return after issue #1 of the new year, that's why some people initially bought we would have to wait til next year to get the chapter. It actually goes by Shonen Jump's new year calendar which has 48 normal issues and 4 double issues (that's when we get two week breaks I think). Issue #1 starts tomorrow, 4 weeks before the actual new year which makes sense because of the double issues. This break isn't going by a two-week break, its going by #1 of the Shonen Jump new year. Maybe you're thinking of One Piece.

OK, I think I went wrong because I was going by the regular week starting point and ending point, instead of starting from Wednesday.

You know you shouldn't listen to most of the members of the forum. Thorium is a reliable member, he usually has his shit straight. The scan you posted shows that Naruto will be back the first issue of the next year instead of saying two-week break. As Thorium explained, that first issue begins tomorrow, with issue #2 starting next week (OP will return then). So unless Thorium has his weeks and issues mixed up, it should be out tomorrow.

Anyways, we'll find out for sure tomorrow but I'm pretty sure there are already spoilers out so I'm inclined to believe it will come tomorrow.
