[Discussion] What the Kyuubi said near the start of shippuden!?

Near the start of shippuden the Kyuubi said to sasuke.

something along the lines of :

We may not meet again, so let me say one last thing.

Don't Kill....Naruto You'll Live....to regret it.


So what does he mean by that? What will happen? or what is he foreshadowing?

I'm sure the Nine-Tails would die. He's just letting Sasuke know that he'll live to regret kill his ex-friend. Oro tried to kill Naruto so he wouldn't have to worry about the Nine-Tails or Akatsuki wanting him.

I thoguht if the jinchiruki dies the beast is just set free?. i haven't seen any emphasis stating that the holders can't die. but i might be wrong

Its obvious to me that the Kyuubi was referring to his own revival when warning Sasuke not to kill Naruto. He was warning Sasuke that if he killed Naruto, the Kyuubi himself will be revived and kill him afterward. Sasuke was not aware at the time that killing a host results in the revival of their tailed beast. It makes perfect sense to me, but it is a bit strange that the Kyuubi would warn Sasuke against causing his own revival, but perhaps he was flaunting his own confidence and taunting Sasuke in a way.

I pretty much agree to what you said but with a little difference.

Kyuubi knows Madara is in the shadows and that he has the power to control all the tailed beast plus the potential to take over the whole world. If Sasuke kill's Naruto, it will all fall into Madara's trap and the world would be over (the 10 tails plan thing). I think that is why Madara is giving Sasuke so much power so that he can kill Naruto for him, as it seems no one has the ability to do that yet, including Madara himself (he thought Pain would be sufficient, but he was wrong). Not sure about the the current Madara though as the Rinnegan theoretically would give the Jutsu-less Madara all the Jutsu's in the world, but we have yet to see him in action.

Do u think the nine tails likes being sealed inside naruto? nope so why would he tell sasuke not to kill naruto? my guess is since the nine tails can sense ppl true feelings he sensed that somewhere deep down sasuke still cares about naruto so he warned him not to kill him, if u think i'm bullshiting watch the episode where naruto saves sakura from sasuke and the had that gay heart to heart look at sasuke something changed him in i bet he's gonna get the EMS fight nartuo they both will survive then they will take out madara together that my prediction.
