This is something I've been wondering, Zoro and Luffy's techniques, do they have a universal strength that's there every time they use it? Like, in the end, Luffy's and Zoro's attacks are merely swings/strokes with swords and punches and kicks. Couldn't Luffy deliver a Red Hawk that is stronger than the one he used against Doflamingo just by putting more effort into his punch, or is Red Hawk gonna be the same strength every time he uses it? If it's the latter, then the same could probably be said for Zoro's 1080 Pound Cannon, at which point we have to consider what's really stronger, Red Hawk or 1080? If they have one set strength for each technique, how do we know which one is higher?Zoro definitely can do better against Doflamingo than Luffy did so far(a combo swapping-1080pound cannon for example would have left Doflamingo in a critical state in my opinion), but not because he is stronger but because he concentrates more in fights than him. Zoro already mentioned the fact Luffy loses concentration too much in battles, 2 times already(in punk hazard and in dressrosa). Because of this, he can't fight at full power from the get go. Luffy is the type of guy who needs to be boosted by something to operate at his real level
