I would most likely have sided with the shinobi alliance because its easier to camouflage among the dead bodies.

I don't think you can just say 'I'd join obitos side'. It really depends on how strong I would be, ofcourse I would prefer joining obito's side because yolo but if I'd be weak as fvck I would probably get killed instantly if I asked permission to join.
