I must confess it was confusing for me too however what got me worked up was when they translated Hyakugou jutsu.
I was waaaaaaaaaaaait a minute, that's not a jutsu. It's a seal and it's not even released.
So I gathered all my japanese speakers/natives and asked for help.
And ta daaa! I made it and the NarutoWiki page of Sakura is now clear.

i think the sakura's seal is not 'stronger' per say but what might tsunade taught her is a kind of other variation(maybe still within the seal's concept) that is more 'suitable' for sakura...

Difference might be that Tsunade seal gives Her the ability to cure all life threatening injuries and Sakura may only have non threatening abilities. Tsunade did say She can't die in battle but out of battle is different. Sakura may not have the ability of not dying in battle. After all She is still an apprentice and may not yet be at the maximum level yet.
