madara is not immortal...his like kisame,his chakra capacity makes him live long..

u dont know Madara is immortal when he hasnt shown any skills atm...But Pein is gonna be damn strong..his genjutsu seems to be heavenly...

what i like most is it appears to be long range (finally naruto has a long range attack) and that he doesnt get worn out from it.
One final thing about "that jutsu"
when chasing deidara naruto gets pissed off at the fact that deidara cant be attacked as hes a long range fighter, and naruto states he has no long range attacks and kakashi deals with it.
Naruto was in a very pissed off and emotional state, and knowing narutos personality we all must know and admit if he had a secret long range jutsu, he would have used it, or at LEAST said "no, jiraiya said i couldnt" or something, but not a peep.
Im with the guys who say it was mistranslated.
it appears to rasenshuriken buffed up with sage mode.
P.S. Its called rasenSHURIKEN for a reason, chidori is the same as rasengan in that its a move you simply drive into the enemy, and even a genin like rock lee noticed how easy it is to dodge them kind of moves.
Rasengan needs to be long range, especially against these new guys, i still reckon kakuzu was too easily defeated, he had 100+ years of experience and craploads of skills and talent and 5 elements, and all it took was 2 tries of a kage bushin trick.
Akatsuki is not meant to be that stupid or weak, lets admit facts, thatd never have worked against itachi, deidara, sasori, orochimaru, kisame etc etc
especially madara and pein.
Kakuzu and hidan appeared to be the weakest ninja in that they got hit a lot, most other akatsuki are almost impossible to attack, let alone kill.
even granny chiyo who knew sasoris moves took ages to finally land an attack, orochimaru just never gets attacked, and when he does he vomits imself out again, deidara only got ht by gaara and kakashi, one at kage level and the other near kage level.
Itachi was playing around, way too fast.
the rasengan is difficult to learn, 4 years for the rasengan, and its hit rate is very small, not worth it to be honest, unless its going to be perfected somehow.

If it's long range it'd better be damn fast or unblockable; otherwise it's kind of a waste. Strong opponents should be able to dodge it if it's nothing more than rasenShuriken portable. If Naruto could make smaller ones and throw a barrage of them, that'd work. Also, one could compensate reaction time to the size of the rasengan thrown at them. The larger it is, the further they have to travel.
We've seen his clone and himself have a rasenShuriken each during the Kakuzu fight on Naruto's second attempt. If he can make a bunch of clones and throw it then like his regular "shuriken everywhere" jutsu, then it could be unblockable because the opponent has no direction to move to, checkmate.
There are ways this would work. Also, I'm fairly certain Sage training makes you fast. If you are stronger, it generally leads to greater speed. Pure strength doesn't, per se, but Naruto is learning more than that.

Jiraiya made a huge rasengan, chances are naruto can too, but even bigger and with wind element given jiraiya only got hermit mode, naruto has full sage mode.
It wouldnt be easy to dodge if its fast, wind is fast and piercing, thats what asuma said, i reckon he should be able to fire them things super fast.
True page 9 shows something similar, but the dots change direction, page 9 they go along the slits, page 10 they go up-down the slits...but it does look VERY similar.
