from green goblin to octopus to sandman and venom
its still my best marvel movie

Hands down the Dark Knight trilogy. Second to that the Ironman trilogy. I very much like the original Spiderman trilogy, but compared to the other two trilogies you mentioned the Spiderman trilogy is just too comical/childish to compete. Not that thats a bad thing, but at the end of the day it does make a difference when compared to others.

I only remember two of the three Dark Knights, but I have to chose that.

I have a feeling the new Spidey trilogy will become my favorite, until Deadpool's inevitably comes out.
I disagree with Dark knight I agree with the OP the Spider-man trilogy was a better representation of the source material.

Deadpool's movie has been in limbo for over 6 years lol we're never getting a trilogy we'll be lucky if we actually get a movie in general.

You liked spiderman better than the dark knight movies...?
Christopher Nolan only had one good Batman movie-The dark Knight. Batman Begins was ok and The Dark Knight Rises was bad. IMO of course.

I disliked TDKR for a few reasons but mostly because of Bane, who let's be honest here wasn't Bane, and for that shitty Robin he tried to slide into the movie, again let's be honest Joseph Gordon levitt wasn't Robin he was just some adult police officer named Robin. Robin's name is either D.ick Grayson, Jason Todd, Timothy Drake or Damian Wayne, if your character isn't named 1 of those then he isn't Robin.

Nolan tried to much(for me) to make an unrealistic comic book into a "realistic" movie in an effort to widen his audience, which sacrificed a lot of the Batman mythos. Batman is the world's greatest detective and we saw very little detective work from Nolan's Batman. Batman is also a master martial artist and yet we see Bruce Wayne in prison being a better fighter than we ever see Batman be. The opening scene in TDK(the parking garage) he twirls around like a ballerina doing elbow drops, it was embarrassing, and how many high kicks to the head or knees did we get in the entire trilogy, as few as we could count on both hands. Christian Bale could have been Bruce and Batman fine but during fight scenes(since you have a mask anyway) put a martial artist in the outfit.

The Spiderman trilogy followed the source material much better. Iron man was on a great path until 3 came out and the Mandarin fiasco and the Extremis crossed over into a story that was unrelated. Just once I would like to see a director make a movie and actually follow the comic book to the T, is that really so hard to do or too much to ask?

I'm sorta average on all of the Nolan Batman movies, I don't love them or hate them. Dark Knight is SO overrated.

Original Tobey Maguire spiderman is personally too cheesy for me, the only one I enjoy is Spiderman 3, reboot is a lot better.

Haven't liked any of the XMen films except First Class.

Iron Man series is the best trilogy in my opinion, 1 and 3 are absolute masterpieces and 2 is still very watchable.

The Spider-man trilogy had a dud, the third one, which killed the franchise.

Neither of the other two trilogies had that, but you could argue that Iron Man 2 was a dud. However, Iron Man 2 was received much better than Spider-Man 3, and it did have its moments.

Gotta be:

1. Dark Knight
2. Iron Man
3. Spider Man

I love Iron Man, but think the Captain America movie's will surpass it. Maybe Man of Steel will give some competition..
Who knows, the super hero movie genre is getting crazy

Why wasn't XMen trilogy considered? Though, I prefer First Class - imo, it was a good trilogy nonetheless.

But anyways, Nolan's Batman Trilogy is hands-down the best!

Iron Man was epic; I loved the other 2; though mainly due to its entertainment factor though. Iron Man trilogy is simply great entertainment.

Spiderman Series was good; but that's about it. There was no real standout movie in it; unlike Batman, where all 3 were masterpieces.

Either X-Men or Batman. X-Men has fun characters and I really like the Magneto/Xavier relationship. Then again, Batman has Harevy Dent, who is my favorite comic book character. Add in Ra's, Talia, Scarecrow, Bane, and Joker, that's hard to beat. My vote goes to Batman as I like the Batverse (Overall) and am more familar with it than the X-Men to begin with, but X-Men scores second place. I also really like Tony Stark, but the 3rd movie, albeit hilarious, felt really odd. It didn't fit in with anything in my opinion. It knabs third place while Spiderman scores the last. I remember enjoying those films as a kid and they are still good, but I don't see Tobey as my Peter Parker at all. I like the films though and love Topher's Venom, but compared to the others, Spidey problem gets last place.

Depending on if (although they most likely will) Thor & Cap get a trilogy, I can easily see them topping the list. I loved Captain America and Thor 1&2. Winter Soldier looks awesome, as well.
