What makes naruto popular in japan?

And not all of Japan knows about Naruto. most people in Japan dont have the slightest clue what it is.

But the reason why people in Japan like naruto is probably going to be the same reason people like naruto in the USA (or where ever you are)

Well i started watching naruto since i was a kid because i was a fan of ninjas and stuff like that but now i'm just here to finish the story and what naruto will accomplish at the end of the manga.​

I don't watch/read HxH but i heard kishimoto copied a lot of stuff from that.​

IMO its popular in Japan because it includes a lot of Japanese mythology and religion and has included a lot of things that is inspired by DBZ which is extremely popular in Japan. Plus the fact that its just pure awesome

The story is awesome. Ppl bash Naruto for all kind if reasons but in the end you have to admit....it's an extremely popular series in multiple countries

I agree. Part 1 is what gets most ppl hooked. The story is so interesting and you look forward to every progression in the plot

If the series had been like shippuden from the very beginning, I probably wouldn't have fallen in love with the series

On serious note lumos ultimatum took words out of my mouth. No series,i mean no series,has such a huge fan following and affected so many around the world. Last time I checked no char. was ever cabable of making such a huge sensation like TOBI.

The thing what makes this manga popular is fanaticism.


İt literally feeds on the concept. tons of rivalaries, small pairing hints, the conflict of idealogies, everything borderline forces reader to pick a side.

The thing what makes manga Bashed on is the same thing that makes people read. You don't like Naruto? You root for his rival. Narasaku? How about Naruhina? Everything in the manga that makes a person hate something also makes him like another 2 times more.

It's like sports. You have you fave team and No matter what you root for that team. If your fave Team counters with your least fave team the excitement gets higher.
