OP: His skill as a ninja. Other people have fancy jutsu that make them deadly, but Itachi is just such a skilled ninja that he can fight almost anyone. His sharingan make his moves even more deadly and combines with his MS he is formidable. I would say that he's at least Kage level, maybe even Hokage level.
