The topic of the thread is where did this huge surge of popularity come from concerning Hinata, not why she's liked. My theory is that Narutofaps are self inserting which is a fact. Justice is revenge. Revenge is always made personal though. If someone hurts another and I have them arrested and put in jail, I'm dealing them a punishment in exchange for their actions against another person. That's avenging someone, that's getting vengeance.

How one goes about it doesn't change what it is. Getting someone back for what they did whether it's by your hand or the hand of the law is still revenge.
