What Makes a Ninja Kage Rank?

What is needed to consider a Ninja Kage Rank?
I've seen many people rank Ninja High Jounin but what does it take to reach Kage rank?
Endurance? Agility? Durability?​

There's clearly a difference between every Kage and a Jounin like let's say...Kurenai.

I guess once they are comparable to the other people who've held the title of Kage, they reach ''Kage-level''.

People usually only think of Kages in terms of strength when it is only about 40% why they are a Kage.

It takes a certain level of mastery of shinobi arts. A Kage doesn't have to be a master at all the arts, just the one they're good at, and they have to be so good that they can take multiple average jōnin and win with little difficulty.
