People like to bash Naruto because he hyperventilated over Sasuke, but honestly. Naruto commented on why he felt the way he did in chapter 698, in how every-time he thought about Sasuke he hurt.

It confirmed what I understood about Naruto from a reader's standpoint, in which he would do anything, not just for Sasuke. But for anyone he cared for, for the innocent, he's basically like Superman while Sasuke is Batman to keep it simplistic and understandable so I don't ramble on.

The fact that when Naruto get's a goal and he keeps it no matter what. You can always count on the The Number One Hyperactive, Knucklehead Ninja, Naruto Uzumaki ;D

My honest opinion:
Naruto is the best MC when it comes to Shounen MC imo.

I could go on with what I like about his character, but like I did with Sasuke, it's not that important.

I like it, he makes things interesting, and I'm proud to see what he became after Part 1.

He is my favorite character in all of anime, despite what people think of his "development", he is the only character that I would care about if he actually died. An emotional attachment I had when Naruto was in part 1 and part 2.

His character was inspirational, emotional, and evolving. He constantly tried to prove that he wasn't a monster, that he could actually be something. After the Pain Arc I shed a man tear, my only one I have left after meeting Sakura.

I feel Goku from DBZ is favourite MC than Naruto though both are similar in many ways as Naruto was based off him.Thing is I dont like the mature Naruto from 700.Goku became a SSJ4 in GT and while leaving the human race forever and yet he was a humorous happy go lucky guy.I didnt get that vibe from Naruto in 700

Apparently it was supposed to mean the "Hokage-Obito" version of Obito was the "coolest guy", not the mass murdering psychopath. Either-way it doesn't justify shit and just makes Kishimoto look like a r-tard.

THOUGH, I won't let one mistake ruin my thoughts on a character. He has ****ed up Sakura, Sauske, and Kakashi all the same in this bloody war arc

I liked Goku back when his character was portrayed with emotions and feelings that I could understand. He just became too powerful, to simplistic (For MC's) and I just expected every outcome of him failing. He didn't have a tragic history, he was never the underdog, and I never felt as if Goku would die and if he did, Dragon Balls GG.

I think, personally, that Chapter 700 Naruto was really a breath of fresh air. He was much more realistic as he matured over the years, remember back to Part 2 when Naruto saw Konohamaru's sexy jutsu, and we thought he grew up. Instead, he was going to use his super extra deluxe sexy jutsu lol.

When Naruto had his talk with Bolt, it instantly reminded me of the talk Minato had with Naruto, and the talks Jiraiya had with him too. He became a father in my eyes, but not just because he had a son. It's due to him becoming the father to all the citizens of Konohagakure.

It really isn't Naruto's character to say that, that's why I state Kishimoto being a bad writer. Because funny enough, not even 40 chapters before he said that, he told Obito he would never forgive him.

See the thing about this "peace" thing, is that it's not to be answered. Sasuke thought he could rationalize this peace by finding a quick solve because he gained the powers of the Rinnegan. Even Naruto understood that plan was blasphemy.

To achieve true peace, is almost impossible. Light will exist with dark, and love will only breed hatred.

It honestly makes Naruto look more intelligent by not giving an answer as he was. I mean how could he? He was only seventeen.

What Naruto did SHOW with his path (mind us that Naruto was forced to find this true peace) is that he cannot do it alone without the contribution of all of the Ninja world (and his friends).

To what will he find? No one know's. Though, with the world at peace as we have seen in chapter 700. I can only see positives.

My feelings exactly.There is nothing that special about him.In fact his goal of becoming Hokage was not even shown.His ultimate goal always seemed Sasuke.In fact it seems as if he became Hokage by saving Sasuke

He could not focus on becoming Hokage because of Sasuke. He stated that many times: "How can one become Hokage ... if he can't even save one friend? Right, Sasuke?"

Imo. A great line that foreshadowed their friendship
