Well not only is Sasuke a Controversial character, but his techniques, development, backstory and even mannerisms are all interesting.
Sasuke is the most interesting character of this manga tbh and that makes him fun to talk about. Even if u hate him Sasuke is a presence that can't be ignored

Naruto is a good kid. Sasuke just has all that controversial angst. The guy abandoned his daughter for reasons unknown and his baby mama is unknown as well. Who wouldn't talk about that?

I think it's because Kishi has a tendency to write his character in such an open ended way. Especially now that the manga ended. We don't really know what sasuke has been doing over the years other than the fact that he had a daughter and became nomad. At least that's what it is for me.
I feel like we got closure with naruto. We know he reached his life long dream and that he has a family, and naruto is naruto, there's not much else that can change for him. Where on the other hand Sasuke is still pretty shrouded in mystery. The manga literally ended at a turning point his life. There's no real closure for him, which is the only thing I hated about chapter 700. We got one panel of one of the most vital characters in the manga other than naruto and none of us had really any idea what the heck he was doing or how his character has changed a matured. We don't even know if he ever got his prosthetic arm yet.

Throughout the manga, Sasuke has managed to somewhat piss on everyone's lives. Each piss is unique and not like the other. A "Piss Snowflake" if you will.
His long list include but not limited to: Abandonment, betrayal, murder, manipulation, abuse, broken-promises, attempted-murder, kidnapping, physiological trauma among others, terrorism, disillusionment, fanaticism, self-entitlement, lack of honor, lack of empathy to people who aren't "Naruto Uzumaki" and "Itachi Uchiha". Lack of respect, constantly changing goals. Severe inferiority complex, Martyr complex.
They also include such people (once again, not limited to)
Sarada, Karin, Sakura, Naruto, Kakashi, Itachi, Kabuto, Ay, Danzo, Gaara, The Bijuu etc...
I could go on but you should get where this is going.

No one likes the flat character. Sasuke's one of the few dynamic characters in the series. He's not very predictable and he's one of the few characters that have a large effect on what direction the manga goes in. Naruto doesn't have that type of character power since you know he's going to come out on top and win.
