What ludicrous perceptions of life did you have as a child?

We all had an innocent outlook on life; at one time or another, surely. I'm interested in what unique ones you all had. I for one thought:

A] - That if you ate seeds that a tree would grow inside you, thus killing you.

B] - That you had a universal limit to the amount you could eat in one life, as in; I had no concept of the digestive system, that if you ate too much all the food would build up until it reached your throat. At that point you would die by asphyxiation.

C] - That mods were normal human beings and likewise bound to physical constraints like you and me. Boy was I wrong amirite?

I used to think my dad was hurting my mom whilst the were having a naked wrestling contest they were always at night these competitions which was quite odd.

I used to think if you were in a country, then it was now your nationality. Like, if you were in Russia, you're Russian, but if you go to Australia, you're now Australian.

Since I was home schooled, I always thought teachers lived in the school. xD

I always believed that if I stepped on a crack on the sidewalk, I'd break my mother's back and kill her. I had to go home one day in Pre-K because I was balling my eyes out thinking I killed my mother because some kid shoved me and I stepped on a crack on accident.

I used to think time travel was possible after watching Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure when I was a kid, then I found out that time traveling to the past violates the Second Law of Thermodynamics (at least in the Macroscopic Scale and not in the Quantum Realm) .

I thought women's public restrooms didn't have toilets; so they somehow had to use urinals instead. I was always extremely curious about this.
