What ludicrous perceptions of life did you have as a child?

I used to believe that when it was raining that God is peeing on us. :yeah:

When I was young, I wanted to fly. All Super Hero's who could fly [I thought at least...] had capes, so I thought if I had one I could fly. So I stood on my dresser next to the window and tied those stings from the blinds around my neck.. And then jumped off and tore the whole blinds down with me....

I also believed if I roared like a T-rex, I'd eventually become one.

The moon was made of cheese. ( I was like 4 or 5, I remember getting laughed at from older people)
God was like a genie.

I thought god lived in the chimney of the building in front of my house. Can't blame me though, I was 5 and that chimney looked like a minny palace. @_@

But, one day when I saw someone coming out of the chimney, I ran to my mom and was like 'Mom, mom .. I saw god!" .. I think my mom died laughing. :|
