What level Ninja was Kimimaro Kaguya?

However, Kiiro makes a weirdly good point with the stats that contradict the bold. Kimimaro is a 30.5 overall while Genma is 27 overall

I dont really compare databook stats like that to see who is stronger because it's simply a personal footnote of the characters ability. But yea , high jonin level is too high based on kishi's portarayal when Base lee confronted him.

-Have you ever seen a scan where Kimi was said to have soloed the sound4? It would be a good way to compare him to genma/raido. Even tho both were low on chakra when they got wreked by sound4 , which means weaker/slower.

I'm going with Elite Jounin myself but mainly due to his Kekkei Genkai. Sure his taijutsu skill was nice and his speed was decent but neither is enough to make him anything more than a low Jounin. With his bone defense and Curse Marks though, I think it elevates him to Elite Jounin.

I think you've got it right on the money. It's important to note he was 15, and likely wouldn't have been as strong as many full grown Jonins.

Drunken Lee even gave Gai problems but Kimmimaro low diffed in base

Guy was also trying not to hurt Lee, unlike Kimimaro. Also Kimimaro only low diff'd drunk Lee cause he snapped out of it with one minor cut.

In Kishi's mind, CE finals Neji (since this is Db1) was already Chuunin level. SRA Neji would then be possibly high Chuunin and i don't think he can contend with Kimi?

Just wondering if that scan would change where you rank base Kimi.

Yea i remember that note , doesn't really change my view. I said he should be somewhere between high chunin and jonin which means above high chunin.

Kimi direcly implied that base surgery lee can at least contend with him when he said he wouldn't be so easy , and this Lee is weaker/slower than base CE1 Lee who is inferior to prelims Neji even with the 1st gate. So SRA Neji should be able to at least contend with him. Doesn't stand a chance at beating him but kimi would no doubt be impressed just as with Lee as it's only logical.

His overall power with things like CM boosting his KKG is what elevates him. In base w/o CM i cant put him at high Jonin , at best with db notions he's mid jonin if he's above genma assuming genma is low jonin.

Ohh lol, my bad. I made the blunder of misreading that 'between High Chuunin' part. Can't remember it though.. was it base Lee or Drunken Lee that pushed Kimi to use CM?

Base Lee didn't really do anything and it's clear that his attacks were never gonna give base Kimi even the slightest of problems. But it was implied by Kimi himself that base lee would've been harder to take down than KN0 and with the 1st Gate added he'd be much harder than KN0 according to Kimi.

Orochimaru and Kabuto both said that the war against the leaf would have gone completely different if Kimimaro was healthy, in fact, they seemed to believe that it would have gone smoothly with a fit and healthy Kimimaro.

Guy was on his death bed and pawned kubified Naruto, Lee, and then took Gaara to the brink, Gaara didn't even win, Kimimaro just died from his illness as he was about to kill Lee and Gaara.

Guy was insane. Oh and remember, he's one of the edos that were not sealed, even with the aid of a KCM Mode Naruto clone. He was still fighting when Itachi cancelled the edo tensei.

Kimimaro is beast yaw. I can't even imagine how strong he would have been if he was cured and lived through the time skip.

Also, he controlled Jugo without the need for a sharingan. His killing intent alone shocked Juugo back to his senses.
