What Kishi is trying to portray by Making Tobi Obito

I think what he is trying to portray is that Obito is what Naruto could have easily become had he given in to his lust for power and recognition. They have a lot of similarities between the two:

Both considered dead last by their peers in the academy
Both dreamed of being recognized by the village and becoming Hokage
Both following their masters will of bringing peace to the world: Jiraiya and Madara
Both extremely good at convincing and manipulating people with their words
Hopelessly in love with a girl (Rin and Sakura) that loved the 'jerk' (Kakashi and Sasuke)
And Both were loudmouths and wore goggles

The reason why Naruto didn't become how Obito became was because he had mentors like Jiraiya, Kakashi, Iruka and had loyal peers such as the Konoha 11

By the looks of it, Obito didn't have many inspirational figures in his life, and knowing the Uchiha clan, they must have pushed him out and thought of his as simply a failure. The only people that did acknowledge him were Rin, Minato and partwise Kakashi. This is why i think i stung so much when Rin died.

Btw im not sure if this is a coincidence or not but when Naruto was a kid he wore Orange and blue attire, while Obito wore blue and orange xD

I agree which is why Naruto is going to use TNJ someway during this battle unless Obito kills Kakashi or the other leaf 11 show up and he kills Saskura.

Not sure about Madara trying to bring peace on his own way. That is what he told Tobi and not sure if if that is for a fact his motive.

Not sure about comparing both Naruto and Obito. Obito didn't have an evil like creature inside to fight inside of him. But Obito was in a unique situation and was basically taken against his will. For all we know, the situation gave Madara enough time to plan and orchestrate the whole thing so Obito could change. He knew what was the most valuable thing for Obito and told him what needed to be said.

Nevertheless, Naruto was told the Fake Madara was pure evil and not to hold back. Well, Obito was not always pure evil and was just another victim. Obito will find out that was was tricked and will change back. But at that point, Zetsu will not support Obito in saying or doing anything against Madara and will leave him to die. He will say "sorry to Kakashi" and some last words about how to kill Madara or just ruin hi plans completely before ...

I think that the similarities will eventually be brought up between them. I also think that even though we had his flashback Obito is going to be sticking around for a while longer. I do believe that even if Obito knows the truth that won't be enough to make him have a change of heart that would be too easy. I think that it will be a combination of that and Kakashi's death, Naruto will go off at Obito and yell at him and the two will compare there lives with Naruto TNJ Obito.

Well we're not sure about Madara's motive yet but obito was trying to do the same thing Naruto was doing, and follow his master's will
