Btw, here's the 2 HD versions (one with Russel Crowe and one with Kevin Costner)

I don't see the difference. Care to explain?

When I heard that the Man of Steel trailer would play in The Dark Knight Rises I was ecstatic, but after this trailer I was really disappointed. I guess I expected to see a little more of whats to come than this. I'd say this is more of a teaser than a trailer
I hate people like you. Trailers as they are now are a travesty and a comedy. What's the point on going to see a film if the whole movie is already there? I much rather have these types of trailers or teasers than the trailers you're asking for.

You hate me for having an opinion? Quite the arrogant bigot you are.

What's the point in going to watch a film if everything is shown in the trailer? I can ask you the exact opposite, what's the point in going to watch a movie if the trailer shows you nothing? There is nothing wrong with trailers as they are now. I'd rather watch a trailer that shows me a little more of what to expect from the film than to be left bored and completely lacking the incentive to watch it in the first place.

The only reason you're able saying this is because this is Superman and everyone already knows Superman. But take a brand new original movie that people aren't familiar with and give that a 30 second teaser that doesn't show you anything - no one is going to want to watch that. That's why trailers are now, as you put it, a travesty. But no one cares. It works.

This was awesome.

First impression I got when I saw the waves was Inception lol - wonder why

Then it was a complete Batman Begins vibe all over it.

Hans Zimmer's score is extraordinary. If this movie turns awesome, the soundtrack may end up putting me in tears.

It got C.Nolan's stamp all over it. I don't know how much they'll nail on the action part but all I know is that the psychological part and emotional journey of Superman is going to be magnificent. Can't wait.

The true challenge will be to make Superman looks like someone who can achieve everything but yet makes him look as a true hero and not a goofball-wannabe like Superman Returns was.

I was really hopeful for Superman to be revived under Nolan, Snyder and Goyer's control and this trailer definitely not disappoint me. They are in the perfect direction. Characterization of Clark Kent is going to be awe-inspiring thanks to Nolan's talent. Characterizing Superman well is going to be the litmus test and if the action is also well done, this will be a masterpiece.

I'm pumped for this film, but worried for DC overall. They nailed Batman perfectly recently and I think this Superman will be amazing too, but they haven't built a universe in the movie world like Marvel has because they've only focused on two heroes practically, and they are struggling with one of them. That's for a later topic though.

Trailer=Awesome.
These posts pretty much sum up my opinion of the teaser.

Once again Nolan has shown his genius and might be exposing a side of Superman that most aren't familiar with. That's good because most people think superman is a bland, boring character which isn't true. So hopefully this movie can do him some justice.

What I really want Nolan to do is a Wonder Woman movie, then I will die in peace.

I don't care what director, but I want the same. Everyone is missing a huge win for Wonder Woman. She can be great onscreen. #TeamWW

I'll die in peace after a Flash movie, Barry or Wally.

I still don't get why, after they regroup (DC), the do Teen Titans films and have that make Nightwing. It would showcase many characters at the same time, and spawn off solo films later on like Nightwing, Flash (Wally), Speedy/Red Arrow, Raven, etc.... I actually hope no one does it because I wanna do it xd

Whoops, my bad. For a guy whose name is positive emotions, you're kind of angry.
For a guy who's Ava is one of my fave animals and naruto characters combined your kind of annoying....like in every post you ever post

That's what I'm saying man, marvel as an x man trilogy plus two seen origins, 5 different superhero movies (captain A, iron man 1and2 hulk and Thor) that lead up to the avengers and that was awesome! Four spiderman movies, the blade trilogy, 2 punisher movies and more, they created a universe and they are owning dc, I mean ghost rider 2 and even the first one weren't as great as tey could have been but all dc has done is green lantern superman and batman, the superman movies sucked and I didn't particularly like the green lantern either, the batman movies were pure genius but that's all dc has really got.

Still, Nolan as a director is A+ choice.

Also, I'd love to see Nolan handling a female main character. The female actresses always did great job in Nolan's movie but Nolan's story always resolved around the male/s characters' point of view and psyche. Be it in Memento, Insomnia, Prestige, Inception or Batman's trilogy.

Handling WW will be somewhat a new challenge for him despite it being in the Superhero genre yet again...

That would honestly be fine with me. Wonder Woman, as well as a lot of heroes aren't exactly as campy and light-hearted as they were in the Silver Age (circa. 1950s-60s).

Her new series in the New 52 (the recently rebooted DC Universe or the DCnU), is very dark both in art and content, and shows Wonder Woman in a light most have never seen her. She's trying to cope with not being whom she thought she was her whole life, she leaves Paradise Island for reasons because of that, and her personality is definitely a lot grittier and darker now.

So a Nolan movie about Princess Diana A.K.A Wonder Woman, wouldn't be too much of a stress because the character is now similar to the types of movies that he does and I think he can do her justice.
