Do you think Capitalism is a sustainable economic model? And could you refer me to any resources on this topic?Capitalism advanced faster than regulations on capitalism did. Then, when regulations started to appear, the capitalists were already in strong control of the legislature and were able to reverse or impede those regulations. The end.
I don't mind it all that much. Just keep capitalism out of housing development and from restricting welfare/medical benefits.

What do you get when you have multimillionaires and billionaires able to lobby Congress and campaigns into passing bills to appease their demands? "Citizens United" indeed.
I'm talking about the top 1% making atleast $10m a year. The 1%(shitty term because to be in the 1% you only need to make 225k) got that way typically because they started a business with their own funds(most businesses fail), and invested wisely.

Not everyone can do that. If everyone had the same opportunity that would be one thing but that's not the case.it's simple then. You invest your money wisely and work hard. It's not a secret. OR become an athlete or famous person
The better question is why do people feel entitled to their money?

Life is what it is but this is a manmade system that is designed to benefit a few at the expense of everyone else.Literally everyone in America can do that at some point in their lives.
Do you believe all entrepreneurs become millionaires at 20? Or do you think it maybe it took them most of their lives to build this wealth?
Life's not fair, get over it.
