I really don't get why people who know they're nothing special feel the need to pass down their genes.

The world's population isn't so scarce that it needs people of subpar qualities to reproduce.

The world would be a much better place if only the best of people bred.

We're long overdue for a new plague. Getting rid of couple billion people wouldn't be the worst thing.

Glad someone's on the same page as me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not $hit either and most definitely will not be reproducing. I wouldn't mind if that plague took me, too.

I'm especially so sick of seeing so many stupid simpleton knocked-up single mothers on my Facebook feed. Sure, their kid could be anything they want to be, the world could be theirs, but I fear their mothers are gonna raise them to be human beings who don't contribute and are of no value like they are.

Many remarkable people have come from unremarkable parents, so idk what to think.

Our ability to plan and reason separates us from other animals, but our instinctual drives are more or less the same; survive, eat, and reproduce. Because of our tendency to over-think we can interfere with our instinctual path. We go through life constantly questioning ourselves, creating neuroses. We tell ourselves we "should be" something, while ignoring (or evening lamenting) what we are. We say that we "should have" things, and fail to appreciate what we already have. Wanting better is a very human characteristic, which can be beneficial when not carried to extreme.

Most humans work toward building a better world for future generations, but because of opposing views this creates conflict and suffering. The irony is that the younger generations annoy the older ones, probably because it's frustrating to watch people make the same mistakes. Younger generations are annoyed by older ones because no one likes being lectured. We continue nonetheless. My purpose is to appreciate what I have, and grow in knowledge and wisdom to pass down onto future generations. My success up to this point is negligible I'm sure, but hopefully I'll have more time and opportunity.

Well, I sort of have insurance in religion, just in case there is a heaven, lol.

As for my specific purpose? Well, I don't have any really. I just wanna live in comfort and security among loved ones, get a job I don't hate, make a decent amount of money, find love, start my own family, etc.

I don't have the drive to go after the big dreams like rule the world, become a millionaire, become famous, etc. Besides, they have their downsides too.

LOL what's your insurance policy

To live life young, have fun, and just do my best. I know that everyone has their mistakes in life, but the best thing to do is learn from them, get up, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward.

If you want something, don't see your ass thinking it's just going to come to you. Grow a pair and go get it.
