What is your honest Opinion of Naruto as a MC compared to MCs from other anime?

Naruto is the standard douchebag type main character, boring and predictable since part 1. He constantly repeats himself in his tnj attempts and he isn't badass at all (he's like a goku rip off). Don't get me wrong I think Naruto is an ok Character but nothing special.
Ichigo from bleach is a badass and a main character I really like.

but frankly speaking, Naruto's charater was made to suit the main purpose of the story. It is said that Action speaks louder than Words. But sometimes Words are needed for the Actions to be reasonable.
About Ichigo, Action is the only thing which is needed. There's no need for words in that kind of manga.
You are action-liking guy.
Though some of us like both, action as well as words, since this "Naruto" manga taught many of us through words instead of action.

naruto is my favorite character because he's not strong like other mc;other mc are real powerful from the beginning and as the manga goes on they find challenges but end up getting power ups in the middle of the fight or train and come back stronger

naruto would have died a few times if kurama wasn't there and at first kurama was trying to drain all of naruto's chakra to be revived again,and naruto's power ups are more interesting the most main characters,naruto has to overcome his own hatred to get a portion of kurama's chakra and then kurama's to get all of it

You're part right, I like action but I also like the conversations in Naruto. The thing is, Naruto constantly repeats himself which makes his "message" boring. His character never really changed since part 1 imo. He probably fits the statment that Kishi is trying to make but that doesn't change the fact that he is very boring and the standard type douche MC. Just my opinion.

OT:- I am not bashing over sasuke but i found sasuke's personality more annoying than anyone else as sasuke first wanted to destroy konoha for his revenge but now he wanted to become HOKAGE??

See, I perfer because of his character depth. Sasuke doesn't stick to the same path because the motivations Sasuke had since his introduction to the series was based on a Lie, so as Sasuke learns more about the truth of past events, his brother, and even the shinobi world in general, Sasuke changes his course of action. Because his character has distinct personality and values unless you put yourself in his shoes and realistically think about his character you will never get his character.
On the downside not too many ppl are willing to invest that much thought in a character so its easy to hate Sasuke or even be confused by his character.

Ever Since he became the Prophecy Child, his characterization is ruined due to the fact that now he's already acknowledged getting all the praises, with full load of power ups, repetitive Tnj, and taking shortcut as becoming Hokage since he was destined to become Hokage.

Neji was Right, forget about all the hardwork, luck, or his way of ninja (Usual Way), he's getting everything just simply using Kurama not using his own power.

Everything right now is resolved, and this drags on to the point it gets so f**ckin annoying.

Kurama was the one who made Naruto act when he lose or want to show his rage (before Naruto beating Kurama) But then Naruto decided to deal with it by himself plus he couldn't ignore Kyuubi's existence, he had to tame him instead he nullified the hate which Kurama held onto.
That itself makes Naruto better as the MC. Naruto overcame all this because he's been titled as the savior of the world in the manga and hence for someone it seems he is not the old Naruto anymore.
In part 1, it was more focused on Naruto's story. But part 2 was more focused on the Bijuu inside him and hence he seemed to be more mature than needed.

IMO, he's perfect MC for this kind of story.

OT: I like naruto as a main character, most of mc are freaking stupid and act like they're perfect *uchiha sasuke and many more*, i like naruto how he's dumb but he's becoming kind of smart lately, besides comic relief. He's a pretty good Main Character.

@bold, if Naruto does the same thing which Obito and Nagato did, then what would be the difference between Naruto and old Nagato (old=before TnJ) Nagato did the same thing, revenge revenge and revenge. Naruto was entrusted by his god father and his father to find the answer to the world's questions who suffered pain. How can you expect Naruto doing the same thing? If you need fights, Kishi is giving it to us but he cannot avoid the main purpose of the fight.

Talking about Kakuzu's battle, he was a pure murderer, living on others' hearts and hence he was dealt in the same way.

There's no point in barking in front of someone who already gives sh*t about the world peace.

Kishi only tnj's those people who wanted to make the world peaceful to live. Nagato and Obito also wants world peace but Naruto is meant to make them see the right path.

Hell he just wouldn't give up on sasuke even after he beats him up goes and sides with the man that just attack Konoha the. Sides with the man that killed his family, tried to kill him twice and threatened to kill him and his entire village. I love my best friend like a brother but if he ever did that there's no trying to be friends again if you could do alll those things you obviously don't care about me why should I care about you. But not naruto

i never understand why peoples thinking that no death for opponents=forgiving.... naruto not forgive nagato and obito, naruto just make decision no have revenge...this not equals forgiving

It's not just the no killing part he actually forgives them lol he said it to both Nagato and obito. Remeber that cheesy ass take my hand line he said to obito. I guess we find different things cheesy then that whole segment was completely corny to me. And its not like he said take my hand be punished it was more like atone for your actions even still "take my hand" this is the precise reason I think he's a bad MC he could have said somthing like just give up and face your punishment like a man but no. He's just to soft for me. Obito mind raped himself all naruto did was mind punch him the reason naruto can see his memories is because they were both in that place the Jins can go and talk inside there heads

I don't like Naruto as an MC because he's unidimensional. There's nothing to expect from him aside not giving up and keep on fighting to achieve the righteous result. His reasoning is quite plain and his values are not really explored, not to mention his motivations. On top of that, his personality is quite generic when it comes to shonen manga.

• Powerups out the ass
• Hideous Costume
• Unrelatable (IMO)
• One dismensional in part 2
• Unintellegent
• ****** TNJ
• An unbreackable plot shield
• Cheesy (IMO)
• Always overpowers his opponents rather than outsmarting
• Some stupid ass bloodline which gives him 9 lives
