What is your honest Opinion of Naruto as a MC compared to MCs from other anime?

I don't like him as a main character. He's to much of a goody goody. He's way to forgiving he forgives everyone even the guy that killed his god father/mentor and the guy that killed his family and caused him to be a Jin. It's ok to fight for good but damn actually fight somtimes. It's always the same repetitive script. Bad guys fight a bunch of people naruto shows up fights for two secs then tnj them, the only instance this didn't happen was kakazu everyone else he tnj. I understand it's a manga but have some realism regarding the characters personality there is not a person alive today that would forgive a person that cause almost every bad event in their life and naruto did it like it was nothing. Obito killed his parents making him a Jin causeing Konoha to hate him for most of his child hood, killed an entire clan causing sasuke a breakdown, turned sasuke against the leaf, killed neji killed shika and inos dad and a bunch of random fodder. There's no forgiving all of that but yet some how naruto just acts like it never happend. To many rainbows, puppies, and lollipops in his mind.

That's why I like Eren from attack on titan even though he gets his ass kicked regularly. He's a hero and wants to do good but he wants to kill all the titans with out a second thought, were as naruto would prolly try to find a way for humans and titans to live in peaces.

Yusuke Urameshi is the best main character ever, and I'm not saying that simply because he is my favorite character ever. He truly is one of the most well-written characters that I've seen. Also, Killua and Gon are unique and deep characters. In my opinion, Naruto, along with Ichigo and Eren (there are plenty others), aren't very good main characters.

Naruto is my favorite anime . i liked fullmetal alchemist too .
i watched few long ago i don't remember the names .

-He is hardworking Person
-He never gives up
-He has a most Versatile techniques
-He learns things faster than anyone else
-He has no Ego and he is down to earth type person although naruto is the reincarnation of SO6P

naruto is not perfect as itachi was the one who told him the FRIENDSHIP thing and jiraiya was also enlightened him

It depends on whether you're talking about his character flaws (Like you stated the flaws of Sasuke, Edward Elric and the others)

Or if you're talking about the flaws of his character as a whole (The stuff that makes him a less interesting character, cause as you said a character can be great despite the fact that they have character flaws)

At his character flaws there's the fact that he's still not too smart (Except when he gets fully serious, then he's a great strategist) he often charges into battle without thinking, and he's still naive and has a lot to learn. For example: even though he's strong and all, he's not suited to having the privileges of a Hokage, and even though he has this ability that makes people want to help him, he's still not a very good leader.

As the flaws of his character as a whole, there is the fact that he repeats himself a bit too much and his love to Sakura has always been a nuisance, but I guess it was an important part of his rivalry with Sasuke. Still this is only minor issues in my opinion as I really like Naruto as a main character and I honestly think he's a great character

your probably living to much in your left brain, incapable of seeing the complete picture and therefor only focusing on one particular thing, in this case naruto in the present.. if take the entire manga the buildup to this etc. it's great.

Talking about Kakuzu's battle, he was a pure murderer, living on others' hearts and hence he was dealt in the same way.

Kishi only tnj's those people who wanted to make the world peaceful to live. Nagato and Obito also wants world peace but Naruto is meant to make them see the right path.

Naruto is one of the best MC's because despite him seeming flawless right now he had major flaws when he was young. Such as he was despised by the residents of the leaf village but he fought to be acknowledged by them and then eventually when he saved the village from pain he was truly accepted. Also he's probably overcome his flaws unlike the MCs you described and they will get their eventually. For instance for Sasuke you said hatred and we all know that Sasuke will overcome that and then what are you going to say Sasuke is too perfect as we'll.:eww:

OT:- I am not bashing over sasuke but i found sasuke's personality more annoying than anyone else as sasuke first wanted to destroy konoha for his revenge but now he wanted to become HOKAGE??

sasuke's constantly changing personality is more annoying U_U

out of the ongoing manga I follow, Naruto is my 2nd least fav main character only in front of Eren, it's hard to describe, he was supposed to be simple and funny but than Kishi changed his mind half way through, if it would have been done well it could have been described as character development but it just turned out to look like Kishi at some point simply changed his mind

my fav main characters of ongoing manga are Luffy, followed by Toriko
