What is your favorite game and why?

Morrowind, on the PC and heavily modded. I belong to a forum--as a long time member--where people are still making MW mods. Oblivion wasn't bad, but although it was way prettier, it caused huge problems for mod-makers and as a result was ultimately less satisfying to me. I'm looking forward to Skyrim (the next Elder Scrolls game), but I am worried it will also be less moddable than MW.
My 'real' computer is currently dead, so I am using my mom's Gateway computer that she bought, as he fist computer, back in...I was to say like 2002 or 2003. Definitely before 2004. The only thing to be upgraded on it to date is the monitor, so you can imagine how sad this thing is...so, no games for me right now

Mk9. easily the best buy ive made in quite sometime. It surpasses the hype it had to make a truly amazing game.

Grand Theft Auto San Adreas and the Grand Theft Auto series are my favorite Free Roam games
Black Ops is my favorite shooter right now until i get Killzone 3 or Battlefield 3. My fave throwback shooter is Golden Eye!!!
favorite fighters of all time are Mortal Kombat and Soul Caliber. didnt grow up with Tekken or Street Fighter. grew up with Sega so i like MK and SC. but Tek and SF are great too.

and the one game character and game that takes the championship belt is...... Sonic the Hedgehog. fuck Mario.. lol jk Marios alright
others.. DBZ games, Naruto games, pokemon (back in the day), God of Wars, Maddens, Metal Gears, Marvel Comic based games, Prince of Persias, Jak and Daxters, Prototype, Infamous, etc etc

I loved the MegaMan games for gameboy/DS, but after the fifth one with ProtoMan/Colonel (favorite one), I slowly walked away because it got too eh for me.
Pokemon games will always be a favorite. Old ones of course

The World Ends With You (DS) for quite the reasons.
Very Original Gameplay.
You can even Shout to attack in-game.
Then there is that the Story is gripping.
A Group of Teens get involved in a Game taking place in a near Parallel World of Shibuya with not their Lives at stake but getting a second at it.
They have to face the Noise,Reapers as well as the 7 Day Limit where each Day holds a Challenge.
Fail and Face Erasure.
The In-Game Music is one of the best if not the best I ever heard in any Game.
Awesome Characters as well as development.
