To a certain extent, yes.

I can only talk about Serbia because I don't really know how communism affected the other countries.
Most of the Serbians would agree that communism (Josip Broz Tito as the one on the top of Yugoslavia while it lasted) is the most ideal type of social arrangement/order (if I could say it that way) and that Serbia had one of it's best times while communism. The only flaw of it is the human nature. Let me explain that from my point of view.
Communism is based on classless, moneyless, and stateless social order where people get to "share" all the thing needed for the production... Now that would be great if people would respect that. One of the main caracteristics of communism is "you work as much as you can and you get payed as much as you need" and that indeed is an ideal sistem. I'm sure that worked that way at the begining, but as time passed more and more people started to use that given "power" to cheat and to take more and to work less. That's why the whole sistem fell apart (I'm talking about Serbia, although I suppose it was similar with the other countries).
My conclusion would be that comunism is one of the most ideal social arrangements but that human nature makes a big flaw in it.
Well my conclusion is this then, in my opinion; I believe that there should be more restrictions put in place as far as salaries go for the rich and also for the poor. People have no salary caps on huge companies such as apple which encourages corporate executives to be "stingy" with their profits. Raise minimum wage and creat salary caps.
Now I would also like to point put that it doesn't have to be a set amount of money such as 32,00 dollars manually but it could also be like a certain amount times the amount of money paid to your least paid employee which would encourage them to pay their employees more and also for them to make more profits meaning works harder.
What do you you all think about that?

I've been meaning to say this for the longest time...
You Sig is great.
Also thanks for agreeing with me haha
In short, communism is a great idea,
but everyone who leads is evil with power so it all ****s up and also people are, by nature, greedy.
This 100%. Especially the last part.Best analogy is the carrot in front of the horse. Capitalism puts a carrot in front of all the horses and as they go they get just enough of it to sustain themselves throughout their life. All the horses know they have a chance to get that carrot, the whole thing, and be extremely wealthy or at least well off. Some of the horses work extra hard and pull a lot more weight, so they do actually get a nice chunk eventually, but not without working so hard that they left all the other horses behind.
Okay, so they all see this happen every once in a while; when it happens, it gives everyone else the hope that one day they'll break away and get the whole carrot. It's more like a dream, but keeps everyone going just that much more, especially when they were starting to lose hope and think the carrot was impossible to get. On top of that, their all getting something in the meantime so they have a great starting point to begin with because the pieces they are earning have elevated them above someone that isn't earning.
Now, communism and socialism is where everybody gets pieces of the carrot no matter what. One horse that is pulling their full weight gets just as much of the carrot as someone not pulling their full weight. So what do the horses do? Nothing. There's no prize to be had, there's no reason to pull at all since you'll get the same amount as the next horse whether you work hard or not. This system fails. There might be flaws with capitalism, but at least it works.
Capitalism is only starting to fail because socialism is being introduced.
Communism doesn't work because people like to achieve things in life.
