What is up with xbox live?

To redeem a gold-membership, you just need to buy a prepaid card, input the 25 digit code, confirm purchase and done. Now its asking for your name, address, zip code, email and more in order for you to redeem and I dont like it. Is it doing that to anyone else?

I never tried to redeem on a website. I redeemed all my codes on my console no problem. Now its asking for billing information and other personal information.

Might be something new they've decided to include. Might want to check out the official Xbox site or call them and ask.

I redeemed a 3 month pre paid card about a week ago, it didn't ask me any of this. Billing information shouldn't even be relevant if you're using a prepaid card. Don't know why its doing this to you :/
