What is the difference between having powerful chakra and strong chakra reserves?

Sasuke used 50 chakra unit to create chidori… naruto used 100 chakra unit to create rasengan, yet the outcome is equal.

It also depends on the type of technique. Chidori is a piercing technique while Rasengan is destructive and more powerful.

Powerful chakra=More efficiency and strong jutsus can be used up without wasting too much. Such as Itachi, despite him having a bad stamina and was a walking disease his chakra was strong enough to pull out all the attacks even Susanoo till his last breath.

If he uses more chakra then he'll end up using majority of his chakra reserves and his chakra reserves are below Naruto. If Sasuke uses 70 then Naruto can without a doubt use 140 to match Sasuke's jutsu.

Lets us say Sasuke has a total of 500 and Naruto has 1000, The no of jutsu they can produce or the amount of time thay can keep fighting are pretty much same or Naruto has an edge over Sasuke.

From what people post, the obvious deduction would be that Naruto doesn't have efficient enough chakra, only very high reserves of chakra in general. That obviously can't be true since he was a Jin and is able to pull off above S-rank jutsus like FRS.

Kurama never said Sasuke's chakara is better. He said its more sinister (there's a difference) you can watch the first shippuuden episode to see yourself. The quantity of Naruto's chakara means he's got three to four times more chakara than an average shinobi (Kakashi once said he got about a 1/3 of Naruto's chakara reserves).

With the whole quantity vs quality thing, using vote as an example.

The quantity user such as Hashirama pour out more than just chakra, they put life energy into there technique to make a grander scale (SS).

While quality users have to be resource, use unlimited supply of chakra from the summoning.(kyuubi)

So that when there primary defense gives out (PS), they use the summoning in its place to carry out the battle. (Kyuubi)

It's just like one guy lifting something with little effort, but has low stamina. It doesn't tire him out quickly because it's not that hard for him.

Then there's another guy who has really good stamina, but it takes more effort to lift the same thing.
