I have like just started reading the manga because a bunch of people convinced me to read it on another thread. They all said that they found the anime a laughable look-a-like. And yes I know this is really old news

I think there is a lot of idiots on this site, and it is all the people who see the anime (and haven't read the manga)

all those who have read the manga is much more solid and sane.

personally i think a Susanoo differs in appearance based upon the one who is using it, that would give an explanation as to why their Susanoo's looked slightly different. Sasuke, being filled with hatred has more of a menacing look to his Susanoo.

Susanoo gets stronger when his owner fells hatred. Sasuke didn't knew that he had Susanoo, but he suddenly awakened it in fight against raikage. When he meet Garra, he really needed stronger defence and his Susanoo's power increased and his form has changed too. In start of fight with Dazno when Sasuke got binded his Susano got stronger once more and it's form changed, he received crossbow. In fight against Kakashi, Sasuke's hatred increased once more and so did increases Susanoo's power. It form became the same as Itachi's Susanoo.

Sasuke's Susano'o was already complete vs. Danzo. He just doesn't have the items that Itachi had. They only exist within the user himself which means they probably died with Itachi.

3rd legendary item could be the "Magatama" jewel necklace. It's in the Japanese lore as one of the 3 legendary items with Yata's Mirror and Blade of Kusanagi. Kishi subtituted the blade of Kusanagi with the Totsuka sword that Itachi had but it followed the lore.

Basically in the lore, Amaterasu goes into hiding from Susano'o and plunges the world into darkness. Susano'o lures her out with Yata's Mirror and Magatama necklace. He later slays the 8-headed snake (Orochi) using the blade of Totsuka and gets the Blade of Kusanagi from one of its heads. He gives the Blade of Kusanagi, Yata's Mirror and Magatama necklace to Amaterasu as a token of apology.

In short form; Sasuke's Susano'o is complete. 3rd Item is called Magatama necklace and Yata's Mirror and Blade of Totsuka are spirit items that exist within its user. Itachi died with it and we haven't seen Sasuke with either item even though he mass spammed his Susano'o.
