Yeah vegeta never tried to kill his wife before nor did he outright leave his family so it's not really the same in any way. Plus he actualy LOVED His wife something you can't say for Sasuke.

I guess he didn't want to kill all humans in the past by destroying the earth.

And also he didn't leave his family, he just travels often, so that's pure speculation, as is your thought that he doesn't love Sakura. At least he's honoring his predecessors will and not just doing what he wants like Vegeta.

Besides, his journey is supposed to be a search for redemtion, showing he wants to redeem hisself for his mistakes, while vegeta just spouts bs about pride.
