I agree. Just because Kishimoto draws something for a series, that mind us he doesn't write or draw anymore, doesn't exactly put it in the Manga story line. I was trying to tell them earlier that the design for Boruto in that image most likely is just for fun because older boruto has one Byakugan and a scar. Though we've seen people activate a Dojutsu with one eye before (while having them in two eye) his older design made it pretty clear that he had a single eye Dojutsu only.

I'm not routing the possibility of it not happening or existing, but we can't base canon off of promotional images, when this is just an illustration for a group of people at a Japanese event.

The same thing happened when Ikemoto (sorry for pointing this out guys) drew Sarada with double tantos in her hands, and people were getting all excited ... And it never happened. Same thing with the Boruto Movie and the 'lightning technique' trailers.

I learned my lesson not to trust anything but Manga panels/spoilers via Manga panels.

I believe it can be a new type of sharingan that surpasses the mangekyo sharingan or the eternal mangekyo. Anyways I hope that will make her OP than boruto and mistuki. What I don't get is how the heck did boruto get kurama's chakra. I thought a tailed beast had to be transplanted into a jinchuriki before he or she can tap into that power and based on the prologue page in the new generation 1st chapter of the new manga there is no way he could have gotten kurama's powers without Naruto transferring kurama to him. So an explanation is needed. But for sarada and mitsuki, their powers are definitely hyped and awesome. Hoping that sarada will have the byakyou seal on her forehead and have some sage cloth as well.
