So whenever a hot topic comes up regarding the series people either do one of two things:They bring up manga scans or references to bolster their argument or they rely on the databook. However this thread is about which one is reliable.
The databook is great for getting information but some of it is also outdated thanks to new things introduced in the manga. For example the databook says Hiruzen was the God of Shinobi but we all know now that isn't true. The databook also said in order to use Susanoo you need Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi yet in later chapters that fact was debunked somewhat,it also said that Madara/Obito is immortal but again that was disproven as well.
Manga scans are a little better than the databook at times but you often need to sort through chapters in order to find the ones you need to help prove your arguement. That can be a pain since there's over 600+ chapters and unless you have a personal collection of manga scans then sorting through them is a hassle just to find one scan.
Anyway what does everyone think?
