As someone who loosely researches the effects drugs have on your brain and body and someone who's fascinated by the effect stronger hallucinogens/psychedelics have on your brain - what the f**k did you just try to say? I like both, but alcohol is definitely more dangerous. Post as many facts as you want about Marijuana, how it's just like any other illegal drug (which is false), how it causes violence due to illegal drug sales (well if it wasn't illegal......). I'm still going to smoke it no matter what lol

A poison is a poison whether effecting slow or fast, it will damage or even kill the human body. So either a person takes marijuana or alcohol, both will result in body problem some day and or even can cause death to the life. So the tag line should be remembered that consuming alcohol/marijuana is injurious to health.

Ok first of all i am a huge supporter for marijuana. Alchol and ciggerettes have are some of the leading causes in deaths in america. Example liver failure, lung cancer, drunk driving among other things. There has been no recorded marijuana related death. Marijuana does NOT pose a threat to the general public. Marijuana is very much a danger to the oil companies, alcohol, tobacco industries and a large number of chemical corporations. Various big businesses, with plenty of dollars and influence, have suppressed the truth from the people. The only side effect to marijuana is the mental addiction to it unlike ciggeretets where it has a physical addiction. Marijuana does more good than bad especialy when used medically where it is already legal in 16 states helping people with Aids Cancer glochcoma and other diseases does alchol do any of those things? No it doesn't people over do it and get them selves hurt or hurt others my aunt for example died from a drunk driver. So do i think marijuana is mroe dangerous than alcohol no i dont.

I guess Driving Under the Influence does not qualify as "a threat to the general public."

I'll reiterate from my previous post: Marijuana does impair your reaction speed, judgment, and thought process. Smoking/ingesting it may not have any lasting repercussions, but that does not mean it shouldn't be used in moderation and in a responsible manner. Improper consumption can lead to irresponsible actions which may result in injury or death. Stating that it does not pose a threat to the general public is misleading and may imply that there are absolutely no consequences, when in reality, it should be regulated in a manner similar to alcoholic beverages due to its ability to leave you in a state of impairment.
