lol no, as much of itachi fans would like to believe these days.

Kabuto can simply depell the technique, Itachi only made not possible to control him.

Once Edo Madara is done with, Kabuto has more need to use edo tensei and simply despell the technique.

If it could be dispelled Itachi would have turned to ashes the moment he broke free.

IMO, Itachi retains his own will but he's still binded by the jutsu and Kabuto himself. Therefore Itachi is an edo without the tag that Kabuto can stick into his summons to remove free will.
