What is Hinata's role in the war? ...Instead of a mere moral support?

Well that's the whole point, shinra tensei was to counter it, just like she would most likely use airpalm her only known means of countering, unless she were to throw a kunai at it to deflect it.

And that's just it, many ninja were taken by surprise and adjusted. the fight didn't last much longer after it happened for anyone to get serious. How am i being bias for stating that? Omoi was not occupied only the girl was. Which is why i don't think it puts her taijutsu to shame.

And yes i don't get offended for debates whenever i get into one 99% of the time you aren't gonna change the other persons opinions even if you make kishi himself say that you are right, so i just state what i think and leave it as that

^This though Naruto wasn't in contact with him at that point but yes sai was there on the other side so he was a bit occupied, but thats even more a reason for her to be surprised if she though sai had him while she knocked the chick out.

We have strayed from Hinata vs Sakura to discussing a totally different fight now xD

I was trying to make the general case. You said the data "don't add up" but I contend that to be inaccurate.

If you ask who's stronger as a ninja in general I can use databook stats as proof that, say, Sasori is generally speaking better than Shino and, similarly, Sakura is generally a stronger kunoichi than Hinata. The outcome of a fight though isn't just dictated by which ninja is better on paper. It may very well happen that if Sakura and Hinata fight, Hinata wins with some trick, strategy, unforseen jutsu or whatnot, still Sakura is generally speaking a stronger kunoichi. There are plenty of reasons one could come to this conclusion (important battles fought by the two, feats possessed by the two, quotes from the characters) but there's one in particular that you can check mathematically and it's the databook.

But according to you the datebook's are unreliable, so why bother checking them at all?

But according to you the datebook's are unreliable, so why bother checking them at all?

If you ask which shinobi is better in general between Asuma and Hidan, the databook can give you a definitely clear answer which is 100% reliable given that the source is the author itself. The databook tells you that Asuma has stronger taijutsu, stronger ninjutsu, a more varied sets of abilities, can handle more situation than Hidan, is a better thinker, etc. etc.

If you ask which one is going to win in a 1-on-1 fight then the databook is less reliable because it doesn't take into account many things, for instance Asuma may lack intel about the Death Possession Blood Jutsu and accidentally hurt himself during the fight, especially if Asuma is fighting with the specific purpose of making the opponent reveal his cards. Which is, summarizing, what actually happened. If Asuma had a different purpose, or if he had intel, or if Kakuzu wasn't there to sew Hidan's head back, the fight could have been different but we know how things ended.

Of course, saying that the databook isn't 100% accurate in predicting outcomes doesn't make it unrelevant. For instance, the databook tells you that Lee (22) is not in the same league as Kisame (32.5) by lightyears and therefore, while technically advantaged against Kisame (who is suited to fight strong chakra users and ninjutsu) it is extremely unlikely that Lee can beat Kisame.

The question was, who is the stronger and most advanced kunoichi between Sakura and Hinata? Among the many proofs that Sakura is generally speaking stronger, there's also the databook.

Shes killed a f*ck load of enemies in the war. Sakura never beat Sasori, she was being controlled by Chiyo and had the plot shield around her. Plus Sasori could've fodderised both of them, he died willingly in that fight because chiyo got through to him via TnJ.

Hinata also at least attempted to save Naruto from Pain btw. Sakura just stood there, being useless as always when Naruto was about to get defeated.
Yes. Yes. Yeeeeeees! MO excatly!
