Thank you for the infoGG means "good game". I'm pretty sure it originated in online games without voice coms (Starcraft, Dota, League of Legends). It's just a sportsmanlike acknowledgement of the competition between opposing teams. It isn't really significant.
It is often used preemptively in the middle of games to state one's belief that the game is already over because they are so far ahead/behind.

Should be used when you're having a challenge with people.It means "Good Game", but other people for some reason say it after every attack that someone states. Though it should be used after you're done after a game.
