Hi Everybody
Dr. NickDr. Vegapunk is a last name. What doctor would put their first name after doctor?
I have no idea what thread you're talking about.
No proof of it being first names, so you are wrong. You went off to say that there is no one in the series that is addressed by their last name. Simpleatitsbest just ended you right there. All I said is that doctors followed by a last name after that title not their first but last name. Which is true. And I wasn't wrong, there's no proof that Hogback, Kureha, and Kiluluk are last names.
No, I'm not wrong. If there's no proof that those are their last names, then it's simply inconclusive. No proof of it being first names, so you are wrong. The bold part was what I was talking about exactly. Which ends your argument there. No, I'm not wrong. If there's no proof that those are their last names, then it's simply inconclusive.
I asked him to show me cases where someone was referred to by their last names over their first and he did. However, those were cases where both names were shown and the characters chose to go with their last names. The fact that every case has the pattern of both of the character's names being revealed and not one instance of Oda explicitly only giving the last name of a character means the entire argument ends in inconclusion.
It doesn't end my argument actually because it shows that when Oda does characters like that, there is a pattern. A pattern that doesn't apply to the characters I mentioned. So no one has won, it remains inconclusive. The bold part was what I was talking about exactly. Which ends your argument there.
Then I don't know what else you are arguing about that I had an opinion on. My claim is that you do not see the first name doctor with a first name followed by it, it is usually the last name. Like "The Surgeon Trafalgar Law" for an example. It doesn't end my argument actually because it shows that when Oda does characters like that, there is a pattern. you're variaboss lmfao? The only person you are lying to here is yourself. You are a keyboard warrior, especially stooping low to demonic's level who is the epitome of narutobase's keyboard warrior.
You do realize that titles that are assigned to last names have been given to people's first names right? The same way that the title of "Dr." is given to last names in real life, military rankings like Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Vice Admiral are given to last names. Yet, we've never heard "Vice Admiral Monkey," just Vice Admiral Garp. Fleet Admiral Sakuzuki and Sengoku. Vice Admiral Tsuru. Same with the title of "Sir." Sir Crocodile, instead of Sir. Crocodile's surname. So your logic that Dr. is used a certain way doesn't hold up.Then I don't know what else you are arguing about that I had an opinion on. His face was hidden from us. Could be part of why.Vegapunk with curly eyebrows? lol
Because he couldn't have left and hidden away.Wasn't Vegapunk a citizen of that country Kuma sent Franky to? If he were a Vinsmoke, he wouldn't be raised there since the Vinsmokes no longer have a land nation.
I think Oda is more creative than that. He wouldn't give another Vinsmoke basically the same backstory as SanjiBecause he couldn't have left and hidden away.
