Thing is, I still think that nano insects shouldn't have been able to survive on Edo Torune at all (since it wasn't his living body anymore), which was partly why he wasn't used in the manga (the true reason is most certainly Kishi not bothering, though).

Edit: that is if Kabuto even bothered to somehow put the bugs onto him in the first place. Logically the bugs should have just died with Torune's original body.

If he didn't have the anti bodies then you could still attack him from far away after all they can't act as a shield leaving him open to all sorts of range elemental attacks he gets one shot by fireball jutsu.

Well knowing kishi if hypothetically it was cannon there woulda been some other asspull to defeat them. Probably a high burst of chairs would kill them or photo could just amputate whatever part of his body was infected.

Anyways if they can eat chakra then that's a huge issue. I'd imagine that thousands upon thousands of people would die until wind style users or some elaborate plan is made to stop them.
