Before you get your knickers in a knot let me make this clear:

I am in no way a satanist or part of anything remotely related to the subject. I am merely making this thread in hopes of sparking a discussion if not a debate about something out-of-box (no so out of the box; been done before).

--------------------------------------

Warning Label: This is a post which may/may not offend someone depending on the level of your maturity. I have put it in a spoiler so you cannot say you were caught off guard. Opening the spoiler you are agreeing to participate in this thread and any such denial is invalid. If you think you cannot handle this thread you are more than welcome to leave or not participate. However please remain calm and refrain from insulting each other as that would be against the rules.

Keep your posts concise and on-topic.

If you MUST make an offtopic comment you must use a spoiler tag...PLEASE.

Example:

I am talking about cheese.

Hey baby, nice legs. ;)

Here is the Post. User discretion is advised.

I remember reading once about an epic battle between God [The Father] and his beloved angel, Lucifer [Satan], also called The Morning Star.

The story goes that he coveted God's powers. He sat on his throne one day and made a statement about how he would like to be in his place and be God himself. God got angry for such blasphemy and cast out Lucifer out of heaven.

I am guessing since he had an honorary title he was well known and had a rather large following. Which would explain that when he was cast out he left with a large number of angels.

He then later came back at some point and waged war against his supposed creator with his newfound army of rebels. Of course they lost and were imprisoned to the depths of our world where they now reside (in the story not real life).

What I wanted to ask was what was so different for him to have been forsaken so? Is it so wrong to desire someones power and strive to reach such limits? What if Christianity, Judaism, Cathlicism, and other such denominations have had it all wrong? What if satan was the good guy in this story and his cause was the noble war in which he lost? What if God was the actual Satan and Lucifer the actual good guy?

Let me know what you think without making this a flamefest. Keep your cool. Concentrate and speak with wisdom not from out of your ass.

He was different in the way he thought that we was equal to God and challenged him and God in turn cast him down. Now if he was the actual good guy then I think that when we died he would say so and bring us to him in hopes of saving us from the evil God. Just what I think on the terms of what you are saying it, isn't what I believe, but is something I think would happened if that where true.

But you see the thing is he is always portrayed as the bad guy, mainly by the Christian/Judaism/Catholicsm religion. How is that any more reliable?

Iv actually wondered about this before. I belive Lucifer thought himself oppressed and saw to over throw a monarch..nothing more or nothing else. Sortof a divine William Wallace that just happened to loose so instead of being seen as a great hero he's now a great evil. Whether his war was nobel or not i have no clue cause idk what kind of king god is but im sure it was nobel in Lucifers eyes and evil in gods, and since god won we'll never have both sides of the story

Im not sure, me myslef am an atheist therefore I do not know much about religions. I do know that God said something like 'Thou shall not something, something.' Something = Dont wish to be me. God did make that rule and im guessing Lucifer knew it.

lol. you bring up an interesting point. Well, so does that make hell the actual heaven? but I always thought of Lucifer as God's unsuccessful son living in his basement. haha get it?

I actually thought about this also I trust no word of man by the time message A get's to Z it's completely different. The way the world works I believe there is a super being but we no nothing about it we can only assume by how we see life. We'll just have to die to wait and see

This is a very demonic way of thinking. the satanists and lucifereans believe this and this is the basis of their religion..

and to ask this question you truly dont understand the nature of God. nor do you understand the nature of the devil.

Though not my religion, I somehow view Satan as not an actual being ( never existed ), but created by man to scare & control others.

If he does exist, I doubt he is a good one but God doesn't have clean hands either in my opinion.

Hmmm. This actually got me thinking.. LOL! I remember the elders would say 'don't do this or that or Satan will get you and you will live in hell forever.' to scare kids so they won't do bad. I guess this way of thinking made children assume that Satan is really the bad guy. But really what if the elders said that 'We don't know if Satan is bad for sure... He was once an angel, you know.' Then maybe kids would avoid becoming prejudice.

Well, it didn't happen all that way, but most of what you said was correct.
From what i heard and study, he was piss off that god Value humanity more than his Angels, which led Lucifer to go against god, he even had followers who he won over. It was a battle in heaven, which ended when god cast him out of heaven. Ever heard the saying Lucifer takes many forms? well when he was cast out he began playing on humanity for example, the garden of Eden, he was the serpent who trick eve. (There is also a theory going around that because of this god punish him yet again which is the reason why snakes crawl instead of using legs. and if you think i am crazy for saying this well, i have science beside it. scientist have study snakes and came up with the conclusion that they use have legs. (Did i mention he was the most beautiful of all the angel? many religion seems to go along those lines.

So i can't imagine why he might be the good guy, but the truth of the matter is no one knows, just of to have faith in what you believe in.
