Perhaps if Lucifer had won the war he would be "God" and God would be "Satan".

Even taking religion out, Human morals and standards to what is right say Satan is the bad guy. If he is okay for murder, stealing, and other stuff like that...don't every human society (no matter what religion or lack of) say that is bad?

If Satan had won everyone would worship him and see yahweh as the epitome of evil, I mean God did kill everyone on earth with a flood and send a plague to kill children in Egypt, not a very loving thing to do if you ask me.

my theology teacher in college said that the stories in the bible were legends and myths, she was sort of telling us that it should not be taken literally. so maybe there was an underlying message to it and that it was just exaggerated. just sayin'.

No one will know until they die and that point it doesn't matter how it happened. Hey you nevee met Satan or God you can only go off stories, not supporting Satan or God since i don't believe either are real ( before someone calls me a satanic worshiper or demon xd)

Yeah like the victors write history, if Nazi Germany had conquered the world how do you think history would have been written compared to now?
It's all a big story to me and exaggerated for sure. But a large number of people do take their holy books literally and we get all kinds of bad people and historic events.

I made this thread/question in hopes of opening your eyes a bit and see outside the box. I do not claim it as fact but rather something to ponder.

As humans, sometimes we become so blindsided that we forget to appreciate the other things around us. I was merely asking a "what if" scenario. Do not waste your energy posting senseless things like, "Satan is my enemy he will never be good" or somewhere along those lines. For once in your life step outside your ego and see what is truly possible.

I was aiming this question for those who are not bound by rules or religion.

well...i think if satan did not disobey GOD, then we would've been livin in the heaven...as Adam and Eve were sent to earth cuz they were trapped by the satan and ate the plant that God had forbidden

some of this is interesting but when you say that it satan won, then god would be considered evil, its a stupid what if pigs fly statement, or what if we could use jutsu liek in naruto its an impossibility, see God has been here for eternity, he has no begining nor end, this is hard to udnerstand, and it says in the bible that people will see this as impossible and then they will reject god, just liek that girl said satana wanted to be greater then god, he was prideful and he was said to be the most beatiful angel, satan was then cast down to hell... god made hell for him and his demons, these demons used to be angels.. its just a story of once good people going bad. satan is pure evil and his sole purpose and existence is to get as many souls down to hell with him, his biggest trick is to make you think your only here for alittle while then its all over, im not real god isnt real so live your life in sin and be happy then when you dide you are in hell for eternity.. now for you athiest ppls you say well god isnt real no proof, hell isnt real so i wont go there no proof, well if you want i could prove it, its quite simple.
